Hendra Wijaya
Hendra Wijaya (Indonesian: Hendra Wijaya, born on December 27, 1985) was born and raised in Indonesia and later became a naturalized citizen of Singapore. Currently, he is a male badminton player in Singapore and is good at doubles events.
Hendra Wijaya comes from a family that loves badminton. His elder brother, Hendry Kurniawan Saputra, and his younger sister, Shinta Mulia Sari, are all badminton players in Singapore. Later, he was recruited by the Singapore Badminton Association and began to represent Singapore in competitions. In 2005, he obtained permanent residency in Singapore.
In October 2002, Hendra Wijaya represented Indonesia in the World Junior Badminton Championships held in Pretoria, South Africa, and won the third place in the men’s singles competition.
