The Malaysian Open in January 2023 will mark the farewell stage for Malaysian badminton player Goh Liu Ying. The question remains: who will be her final partner?

According to the New Straits Times, Goh Liu Ying revealed in a media interview after attending an event this morning that her playing career is coming to an end. The Malaysian Open, scheduled for January 10-15, 2023, will be her farewell match.
“Who will be my partner? Everyone will just have to wait and see. This will be my last tournament,” said the 33-year-old Goh Liu Ying, who, along with Chan Peng Soon, won a silver medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics. The pair left the national team in 2019 to turn professional.
Chan Peng Soon rejoined the Malaysian national team earlier this year, while Goh Liu Ying continued her professional career, partnering with players like Ong Yew Sin, Tan Kian Meng, and Liu Xin Cheng.
