Character Introduction

Zhang Yiman, born 15 January 1997, is a Chinese badminton player.

In September 2019, in the women’s singles match of the Vietnam Open Badminton Championships, Zhang Yiman defeated Tran Suyu of Chinese Taipei, Vu Thi Trang of Vietnam, and Shim Yoo Jin of South Korea, and advanced to the final with a 2-0 victory over teammate Wang Zhiyi in the semifinals. She eventually won the title with a 2-0 win over Japan’s Akira Takahashi.

On 26 October 2019, Zhang Yiman won the women’s singles badminton event at the World Military Games.

On 18 December 2021, the Badminton World Championships ended the women’s singles semifinals, China’s Zhang Yiman was defeated by Yamaguchi Xi 0:2, and won the bronze medal in the women’s singles at the World Championships.
