Thom Gicquel and Delphine Delrue have made history by winning the Mixed Doubles title at the 2024 European Championships, marking the first-ever gold medal for France at the European Championships.


The pair has achieved significant milestones on the international stage, including a bronze medal at the 2019 European Games, a silver medal in 2023, and being runners-up at the last European Championships in Madrid. This year, their outstanding performance throughout the tournament culminated in a breakthrough gold medal. The second-seeded French duo defeated the top-seeded Danish pair, Mathias Christiansen and Alexandra Bøje, with a straight-sets victory of 21-16, 21-15.
