Adam Cwalina

Character Introduction

In 1992, Adam Kwarcina first encountered badminton at school and fell in love with this sport ever since; in 1996, he began participating in the Polish National League; and in 2008, he was first selected for the Polish national team.

In 2011, Adam Kwarcina and Maciej Łogaś won the men’s doubles championship at the Dutch Badminton Grand Prix, setting a personal best in international competitions.

After the 2012 London Olympics, Adam Kwarcina stopped partnering with Maciej Łogaś. In September, at the Belgium International, Kwarcina teamed up with Dutch doubles star Koen Ridder to win the championship. Afterward, he switched to partnering with Polish singles veteran Przemysław Wacha, and the two achieved remarkable results early in their partnership, reaching the semifinals of the Dutch Grand Prix and the Turkish International, and even winning the Swiss International.

In 2013, Adam Kwarcina and Przemysław Wacha’s achievements reached new heights, as they won championships in seven events throughout the year, including the Polish Open, French International, Spanish Open, Kharkiv International, Czech International, Irish Open, and Italian International. Their world ranking also successfully entered the top 20 by the end of the year.
