    Serena Au Yeong (German: Serena Au Yeong, born August 28, 2000) is an Austrian female badminton player.

    Serena Au Yeong was born in Eindhoven, Netherlands. Her mother is Austrian, and her father is Au Yeong Pak Kuen, a former Singaporean football player and national team captain. She has one brother and one younger brother, Daniel Au Yeong, who is a football player. Serena lived in Singapore until the age of nine, then moved to Vorarlberg, Austria. She had joined her school’s badminton team while in primary school in Singapore, but briefly left the sport after moving to Austria. She picked up badminton again at the age of 11. Serena began competing in 2012. In 2017, she won her first women’s doubles title at the Austrian National Badminton Championships, and successfully defended the title the following year. In 2019, she won the mixed doubles title.

    In October 2019, Serena Au Yeong and her partner Katharina Hochmeir won their first international title at the Bulgaria International, defeating Bulgaria’s Tania Ivanova and Gergana Pavlova 2–0 (21-15, 21-18) in the women’s doubles final.
