Character Introduction
Beatriz Corrales (born December 3, 1992, in Leganés, Madrid, Spain) is a Spanish female badminton player.
In 2013, Beatriz won four women’s singles titles in a row: the Romanian International, French International, Dutch International, and Spanish Open. In August of the same year, she participated in the World Badminton Championships held in Guangzhou, China. She advanced to the second round after a 2-1 victory over Czech player Kristina Gavnholt but was defeated 0-2 (12-21, 11-21) by the 9th seed, Linda Wenyi Zhan from Indonesia, in the second round.
In August 2017, Corrales competed in the World Badminton Championships held in Glasgow, Scotland, as the 15th seed in the women’s singles event. She received a first-round bye and defeated Germany’s Louise Heim 2-0 in the second round. However, she was eliminated in the third round after a 1-2 (11-21, 21-19, 21-23) loss to the 5th seed, Sun Yu from China, finishing in the top 16.
