Chang Tak Ching
Character Introduction
Chang Tak Ching (born January 22, 1995) is a Hong Kong male badminton player. He attended Hennessy Road Government Primary School in the afternoon session and Diocesan Boys’ School. In 2007, he was invited to join the Hong Kong Youth Team and joined the Hong Kong badminton representative team in 2011, initially specializing in men’s singles. In 2016, he switched to doubles and mixed doubles.
In September 2017, Chang Tak Ching, partnering with Wu Wing Yung, competed in the Singapore International Series, and they finished as the runners-up in the mixed doubles final, losing 0-2 (16-21, 18-21) to the Indonesian pair of Andika Ramadiansyah/Michelle Kristina Bandaso. In November of the same year, he competed in the India International Challenge, partnering with Chan Tsz Kit and Wu Wing Yung. In the men’s doubles semifinals, he lost 1-2 (21-10, 12-21, 10-21) to the Malaysian pair of Aaron Chia/Soh Wooi Yik, and in the mixed doubles final, he lost 1-2 (11-21, 21-17, 18-21) to his teammates Mak Hee Chun/Yang Yating, finishing as the runner-up in both events.
