Character Introduction

Christinna Pedersen (May 12, 1986) is a famous Danish female badminton doubles player. Her mixed doubles with Jokin Fischer Nielsen was ranked as high as No. 1 in the world (April 2, 2015), having won a bronze medal in the mixed doubles event of the badminton tournament at the 2012 Summer Olympics. The women’s doubles with Camilla Lüth Juhl was ranked as high as No. 2 in the world (March 2, 2017) and won silver in the women’s doubles event at the 2016 Summer Olympics, the best Olympic badminton performance by a European women’s doubles player.

Petersen has won the women’s doubles title at the European Badminton Championships four times with partner Juhl (2012, 2014, 2016, 2017) and the 2018 All England Open Badminton Championships, while winning the mixed doubles title at the European Championships twice with Nielsen (2014, 2016). In the team competition, she helped the Danish National Badminton Team to a second-place finish in the 2011 Sudirman Cup as a starter, as well as winning three consecutive Badminton Europe Men’s and Women’s Team Championships (2014-2018).
