Clara Azurmendi (Spanish: Clara Azurmendi, born May 4, 1998) is a Spanish female badminton player.

In February 2016, Clara Azurmendi competed in the European Women’s Team Badminton Championships held in Kazan, Russia, helping her team win the bronze medal.

In August 2016, she participated in the Bulgaria Open, where she won the women’s singles title by defeating the 5th seed, Denmark’s Julie Dahl Jacobsen, with scores of 26-24 and 21-11 in the final. This victory marked her first international series singles title.

In February 2018, Clara Azurmendi again competed in the European Women’s Team Badminton Championships in Kazan, Russia, assisting her team to secure the bronze medal in the women’s team event. In November of the same year, she competed in the Wales International, where she won the women’s singles title by defeating the top seed, Netherlands’ Gayle Mahulick, with scores of 12-21, 21-6, and 21-12.

In April 2019, she competed in the Netherlands International, where she finished as the runner-up in women’s singles, losing to Denmark’s Line Christophersen with scores of 19-21 and 14-21. In May 2019, she won the Slovenia International women’s singles title by defeating Denmark’s Sophie Holmberg Dahl with scores of 14-21, 21-17, and 21-18.
