DONG Adam (Xingyu)

Character Introduction

Adam Dong (born February 14, 1994), formerly a member of the Nanjing Badminton Team in China, became a Canadian badminton player after switching nationality to Canada in 2016.

Adam Dong participated in the 2011 National City Games of China, helping the Nanjing team win the gold medal in the men’s team event.

In April 2022, Adam Dong, partnering with Nyl Yakura, won the bronze medal at the 2022 Pan American Badminton Championships, losing in the semifinals to the Mexican pair Job Castillo and Luis Armando Montoya Navarro by 1-3 (21-17, 19-21, 13-21). Adam Dong was also a member of the Canadian team that competed in the 2022 Thomas Cup.
