Character Introduction
Hafiz Faizal (September 19, 1994) is an Indonesian male badminton player.
In April 2012, Hafiz Faizal teamed up with Pia Zebadia Bernadette to win the Vietnam International Challenge mixed doubles title.
In November 2014, Hafiz Faisal played with Sheila Devi Aulia in the Malaysia Badminton International Challenge, winning the mixed doubles final with a 2-1 (19-21, 21-19, 21-18) win over Koh Yong Kay/Tan Wee Han of Singapore.
In August 2017, Hafiz Faisal represented Indonesia at the Southeast Asian Games badminton tournament in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, winning the gold medal in the men’s team of the Eastern Games.
In July 2018, he played in the Thailand Open Badminton Championships with Gloria Emmanuelle Widjaja and won his first ever Super 500 international title after edging out the tournament’s top seeds, England’s husband-and-wife team of Chris Edcock/Gabri Edcock, 2-0 (21-12, 21-12) in the Mixed Doubles final.
