Character Introduction

Hsu Jen Hao is a male badminton player from Chinese Taipei.

In February 2011, Hsu played in the Austrian Badminton International Challenge and won the men’s singles title by defeating Ukrainian players 2-0 (21-15, 21-12) in the final.

In April 2012, Xu Renhao played in the Indian Badminton Super Tournament, knocked out Sho Sasaki, Vladimir Ivanov and Hans Christian Vittinghas to grab a place in the quarterfinals; ultimately defeated world No. 1 Lee Chong Wei, but has tied Xie Yuxing’s record of reaching the quarterfinals of the 2009 Malaysian Super Tournament.

In July 2018, Koh Jen-Ho competed in the Singapore Open, a tournament graded as a Super 500, and defeated Vietnamese veteran Nguyen Chin Minh in the semifinals in straight sets (21-15, 21-11) to reach his first Super Final[46] before ultimately falling to teammate Chow Tien Seng 0-2 (21-13, 21-13) in the final to write the best result of his career.

Xu Renhao is currently fading from international competition after being appointed as a lecturer in the Department of Exercise Science at National Tsinghua University in 2019.

In 2012, Xu Renhao represented Chinese Taipei in the men’s singles badminton event at the Olympic Games held in London, England, and lost to Vladimir Ivanov of Russia and Son Wan-ho of South Korea in the group stage, exiting the tournament with two defeats. In the match against Son Wan-ho, Koh In-ho abraded his knee while trying to save the ball, and his wound bled so much that he had to be patched up by the medical staff on the court.

In August 2013, Xu Renhao participated in the World Badminton Championships in Guangzhou, China, playing in the men’s singles event, and rallied to beat Indonesian Simon Santoso 2-1 in the first round to advance to the championships, but lost 0-2 (9-21, 7-21) to No. 8-seeded Tommy Sukiyado, also from Indonesia, in the second round.
