The Indonesian Badminton Association recently announced the national team roster for 2024, with Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo and Marcus Fernaldi Gideon still included.
Indonesian media reported that since Fernaldi’s return from injury, the Sukamuljo-Fernaldi pairing has not been reformed. The men’s doubles head coach for the Indonesian Badminton Association also stated that there are no current plans to reunite the “Minions.” However, it is noteworthy that the men’s doubles team consists of 11 players, an odd number, rather than six pairs.

- Men’s Singles: Jonatan Christie, Anthony Sinisuka Ginting, Chico Aura Dwi Wardoyo, Christian Adinata, Alvi Fadhlan, and others (total of 8 players)
- Women’s Singles: Gregoria Mariska Tunjung, Putri Kusuma Wardani, and others (total of 7 players)
- Men’s Doubles: Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo, Marcus Fernaldi Gideon, Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto, Muhammad Shohibul Fikri/Bagas Maulana, Leo Rolly Carnando/Daniel Marthin, Rahmat Hidayat, Muhammad Reza Pahlevi Isfahani, and other players including Ahsan/Hendra as sparring partners (total of 11 players)
- Women’s Doubles: Apriyani Rahayu/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti and others (total of 10 players)
