Character Introduction
Kamilla Rytter Juhl (November 23, 1983) is a famous Danish female badminton doubles player. Her mixed doubles with Thomas Rebhorn was ranked No. 1 in the world (week 25, 2010), and the pair won the mixed doubles title at the 2009 World Badminton Championships. Her women’s doubles ranking with Kristina Petersen was also ranked as high as No. 2 (March 2, 2017) and she won a silver medal in the women’s doubles at the 2016 Summer Olympics badminton tournament, the best result by a European women’s doubles player at an Olympic badminton tournament.
Camila has won the European Badminton Championships Women’s Doubles title five times (2008, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2017) and two Mixed Doubles titles (2006, 2010) with different partners. She has also won won the Women’s Doubles title at the 2018 All England Open Badminton Championships. In the team competition, she helped the Danish national badminton team to a second place in the 2011 Sudirman Cup as a starter, as well as winning three consecutive Badminton Europe Men’s and Women’s Team Championships (2014-2018).
