Character Introduction
Kunchala Voravichitchaikul (Thai: กุลชลา วรวิจิตรชัยกุล; born November 14, 1984), also known as Kunchala or Gong Chala, is a Thai female badminton player who specializes in doubles events.
In November 2010, Kunchala represented Thailand at the Guangzhou Asian Games, participating in the women’s doubles (partnering with Duanganong Aroonkesorn), mixed doubles, and women’s team events, and won a silver medal in the women’s team event.
In August 2013, Kunchala competed in the World Badminton Championships held in Guangzhou, China, partnering with Duanganong Aroonkesorn as the 10th seeds in the women’s doubles event. They received a bye in the first round and defeated a pair from Chinese Taipei 2-0 in the second round. However, they were eliminated in the third round, losing 0-2 (17-21, 10-21) to the 4th seeds, Kamilla Rytter Juhl and Christinna Pedersen of Denmark, finishing in the round of 16.
