Lee Lun Gyu is a South Korean badminton player who specializes in men’s singles.
In September 2023, he was selected as an athlete of the Korean Sports Delegation for badminton at the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou. on September 30, Lee Lun-gyu won the bronze medal with the Korean team in the men’s badminton team semifinals of the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, where the Korean team lost 2-3 to India.
In April 2024, he was selected for the 2024 Thomas Cup and Uber Cup World Badminton Men’s and Women’s Team Championships rosters announced by the Korean National Badminton Team.On April 30, 2024 Thomas Cup Finals Thomas Cup group stage, the national badminton team narrowly defeated the Korean team 3-2. In the third men’s singles match, South Korea’s Lee Lun-gyu was defeated 0-2 by Lee Shih-kung.
