Ling Wan Ting

Character Introduction

Ling Wan Ting (English: LING Wan Ting, Kelly, born November 24, 1980) is a retired Hong Kong female badminton player who represented Hong Kong in the badminton events at the 2000 and 2004 Olympic Games.

Ling began practicing badminton at the age of 11 and was once selected for the Guangzhou team alongside Xie Xingfang. At the age of 16, she was spotted by Chen Zhichai, the head coach of the Hong Kong badminton team, who invited her to represent Hong Kong.

Later, Ling became a key player in the women’s singles team and represented Hong Kong in winning the bronze medal in the women’s team event at the 2002 Busan Asian Games and the third place in the 2002 Uber Cup.
