Liu Chiao Yun
Character Introduction
Liu Chiao-Yun trained in badminton at Zhudong Junior High School and Dongtai High School in Zhudong Township, Hsinchu County. While attending a sports university, she won the B-level doubles title in a ranking tournament, which qualified her for A-level competition.
In 2018, Liu Chiao-Yun won the Sydney International Women’s Doubles title with partner Li Chih-Chen. They later parted ways when Li Chih-Chen transferred to another team.
In September 2019, Liu Chiao-Yun won both the women’s doubles and mixed doubles titles at the Myanmar International Series, partnering with Wang Yu-Chiao and Lin Yong-Sheng, respectively. Also in September, Liu Chiao-Yun and Wang Yu-Chiao competed in the Asian University Badminton Championships held in New Taipei City, where they finished as runners-up after losing 0-2 (19-21, 15-21) in the final to Du Peng and Ni Bo-Wen.
