Maria Kristin YULIANTI


Character Introduction

Maria Kristin Yulianti (born June 2, 1985) in Tuban, Bali, is an Indonesian women’s badminton player who won the bronze medal in women’s singles badminton at the 2008 Olympics.

Yulianti was eliminated in the third round of the women’s singles competition at the 2007 World Championships by Zhang Ning of China. She helped Indonesia win the gold medal at the November 14, 2007 Southeast Asian Games in Thailand.

In the 2008 Beijing Olympics Women’s Singles, she made it through four consecutive rounds to reach the quarterfinals, eventually defeating China’s Lu Lan to win the bronze medal.
