Character Introduction
Melati Daeva Oktavianti (October 28, 1994) is an Indonesian female badminton player.
In October 2012, Melati appeared in the World Junior Badminton Championships in Chiba, Japan, winning the mixed doubles title in partnership with Idi Subbadia.
In September 2016, Melati Daiva Oktaviani appeared in the Indonesia Badminton Masters with Ronald Alexander and won the mixed doubles final, defeating the tournament’s No. 3 seed and Malaysian powerhouse, Tan Kian Meng/Lai Pui Kwan, 2-0 (21-16, 21-17) to win the title.
On December 9, 2019, in the 30th Southeast Asian Games Badminton Mixed Doubles, the team of Mar Octaviani and defending champions Poo Jordan won the title with a 2-1 win over the team of Lai Jie Min/Goh Soon Phat of Malaysia.
On March 15, 2020, in the final of the All England Open, Indonesia’s Jordan/Octaviani collected the mixed doubles gold medal with a 2-1 win over Thailand’s Dechapong/Sasiri.
