Olympic Day 4: European group to be determined

Today is the fourth day of the Olympic Games. Today we will see the fate of many European players as they play the decisive matches. Danish duo Maiken Fruergaard and Sara Thygesen have already won the group as a surprise. Today, we hope that more European players will ensure their progress to the next round.

We focus on the match between the Stoyeva sisters and Xu/Xu (USA), which will decide whether the Bulgarian advances to the quarter-finals. We also focused on Kirsty Gilmour’s match against He Bingjiao (China), a Chinese player who is the sixth seed in this tournament and therefore has a lot of attention. Can Kirstie surprise the badminton world with a win against He Bingjiao? Badminton Europe certainly hopes so!
