The Malaysia Open is an annual badminton tournament held in Malaysia (usually in Kuala Lumpur).

Since 2007, it has become a stop on the BWF Super Series, so it is also called the Malaysia Super Series. From the 2014 season, the event will be upgraded to one of the five major Super Series in the BWF Super Series. In 2018, the BWF implemented a new world tour system. This event belongs to the second-level third-level event and will be officially upgraded to the Super 1000 level in 2023.
