[Review Experience] A brand new scalpel! BLADEX 900NEW Pioneer Experience Sharing

Although it is already the beginning of May, the weather in the north is still from time to time mixed with a little coolness, a while ago and once a year to put the barren season, put the barren a lot of people, who can not control. The grey sky makes people incredibly depressing, the air is mixed with burning straw produced; the familiar ‘sweet’.

No way, the people who put the land on the ground don’t care if you are in a good mood or not; they don’t care if the environment will be affected, the land always needs to be planted. This week, the weather is clearing up, and the landfill should be over, so I can’t help but feel better.

The haze has dispersed, the flowers are blooming, the grass is green, and BLADEX 900NEW has arrived!

The BLADEX 900NEW is a prize provided by CWF Online Forum and Li-Ning, originated from Shishi, Fujian. I am very lucky to be one of the 15 Pioneer Experience Officers in this activity, and I would like to thank China Feather Online Forum and Li-Ning for their sponsorship; at the same time, I hope that you will continue to pay attention to and actively participate in all kinds of activities in China Feather Online; pay attention to Li-Ning; and support the national products.

Appearance: Graceful and luxurious; extraordinary temperament

The 900NEW has maintained a high level of popularity due to its bold colour combinations since the launch of the new product. Because I have not been to the scene, I could not see the real thing, only based on a few blurred spy photos in the equipment library, to be honest, I personally did not have a special feeling at that time. Moreover, with BLADEX 800NEW’s beautiful butterfly design, I didn’t think 900NEW would surpass 800NEW.

When I received the delivery and opened it, I realised how wrong I was. The richness and refinement of this racket’s lacquer design is worthy of all the positive words I had in mind to describe its appearance.

Regal is probably the best way to describe my first impression when I saw it. I can’t say that this is the best looking racket I’ve ever seen, after all, each flower has its own eyes, but I can only say that Li-Ning really lives up to the title of the first of the three major manufacturers of paint.

The overall main colour of the racket is soft pink with black, and the official name colour is fluorescent mould red. Racket frame colour using asymmetric design, pink is very advanced, with bulingbuling fluorescent sequins effect of pearlescent paint; black is very deep, there is a similar matte feeling. The two work together like a chemical reaction, very wonderful, beautiful but not flashy. The main colour of the sticker and logo is rose gold with a few blue-green and light grey lines. It’s worth mentioning the fluorescent green on the frame, which is an eye-catching touch that injects a touch of life and vitality into the racket, as well as the colour used for the lettering on the tech logo. My personal favourite is the BLADEX design on the bottom half of the frame at about 8 o’clock, which, forgive my poor English, means ‘scalpel’! The six letters are concave and convex, and in my very favourite aged bronze colour, which reminds me of a watch I used to like very much, the Zenith Bronze Daffy, with its extraordinary temperament!

Parameters: ultimate design; advantages fusion

The specification of the racket is 4ug6, the weight of the empty racket without removing the thermoplastic touch is 84.5g, the balance point is 295mm, and the warranty is 30lbs. the pulling string EB63+GP1000S, the state of use after putting on the hand rubber without removing the film is 92.8g, and the balance point is around 290. Swing weight can not be measured because there is no swing weight meter.

The middle shaft is 6.8mm HARD FLEXIBLE SHAFT (hard flexible/easy to bend middle shaft), with paint measured at 6.9mm, using ULTRA high elasticity carbon + high-density shock absorbing materials; length of 205MM or so, the body hardness (hand break) and HALBERTEC 9000 basically the same as the old colours BLADEX 800 not as hard, but also belong to the category of hard. If you want to rank the hardness of the order should be BLADEX 800 old colour > 900NEW ≥ HALBERTEC 9000 > 800NEW. 900NEW due to a little thicker in the middle of the rod, and the balance point is relatively lower, so the driving difficulty is slightly higher than the 6.6mm HALBERTEC 9000, the hardness of playing feeling is higher than the HALBERTEC 9000 and 800NEW, the shape of the cone cover and the old BLADEX series to maintain the same shape.

The handle adopts 210mm extended handle, the handle is longer than the middle shaft, (seems to catch up with the 100ZZ handle, right) you can imagine in doubles in the front court you can hold the racket more up, further increase the swing speed.

The T-head and frame connection is cleverly designed, measuring 8.0mm from the same direction as the logo, and 12mm from the side of the frame, rather than a uniformly thickened circle, to take into account the stability of anti-torsion and at the same time reduce the air resistance of the racket surface at the moment of turning as much as possible.

The racket frame adopts SHARP WIND small racket frame windbreaker design, 76 holes wire bed, full wire groove, compared with the actual area of the frame and NF1000Z is basically the same. Racket frame material used M46 + ULTRA high elasticity carbon + high density composite shock absorption system, HEAD LIGHT head light design. The frame type is similar to the Crisp Shark series, which is a wide wind breaker. The width is around 12mm and the average thickness is around 6mm. The lower half of the frame has a groove similar to Kenshin’s from 3:00 to 9:00, which is also used to further increase the swing speed and improve the strength of the frame. The upper part of the frame does not have this feature and is a stiffer frame.

Overall, the design concept of the 900NEW racket combines the advantages of many good speed rackets and is more suitable for doubles use. The extended handle, small frame, Kenshi’s power windbreaker frame, and full line grooves…are all made for speed, and are considered a very extreme presence in Li-Ning’s speed racket series.

Taking into account the net pressure of the small racket frame; the strength considerations of the Crisp Shark frame type, the short centre pole biased high stiffness of the drive difficulty prediction and the new racket adaptation cycle, so chose to match the low to medium poundage biased control of 25 lbs. high elasticity line.

Although I personally have more confidence in the quality of Li-Ning, I still dare not be blindly confident in this type of frame, so it’s better to be cautious. The actual racket pressure feedback is just as I expected, 25lb line can fully meet my daily use needs.

Playing Feeling: Accurate and Fast; Direct Feedback

During the actual hands-on experience, BLADEX 900NEW lives up to the name of ‘Scalpel’ series, the output of the middle and forecourt is not delayed, precise and fast, crisp and clear. The small racket frame is full of power, and the centre stick has good elasticity and fast rebound speed. The sweet spot is medium-sized, and the ball can be hit with a flick of the wrist in active situations, with ideal ball speed, while in passive situations, it requires a good explosive power.

The 900NEW flat draw is accurate, and it is not obvious to hold the ball. During the pumping process, it can press the small side line box well, and continuously lift the racket to seal the net without any sense of procrastination, so it is easy to gain an advantage in doubles hold.

Pushing and picking is not difficult to ensure the landing point and arc under the premise of well-prepared and good power frame, but the effect is not very ideal when being passive and rushed. The small frame and stiff centre stick make the 900NEW difficult to hit passively.

When defending against a kill, the middle stick is very flexible, and the backcourt can make the opponent break, the swing speed is fast, the middle stick is bouncy, and the head is light, so the top of the head is simply too good to be true, and it even made me give up the idea of switching from defence to attack, and I simply wanted to test the upper limit of this racket’s defensive performance. The fact that my opponent changed his direction of attack after a few consecutive balls failed to take advantage of me, and ended up shooting at my teammates frequently, also shows how good the defence is.

In terms of ball control the 900NEW feedback is relatively direct, the feedback is quite clear and the landing point is controllable. Whether it’s a slice or a slide, a net or a hook, it’s not difficult to control and has high quality.

Offensively, 900NEW’s point killing power is not bad, and it is quite cool to catch a chance to kill in the middle court. Pure backcourt has the usual attributes of most speed rackets, under the premise of offensive continuity can be easily guaranteed, it is not easy to hit the nail floor with heavy kills, the consistency is faster than the 1000Z, the violent output of the pure backcourt requires good power as the basis, after all, the positioning of this racket is the professional crowd. If the 3U effect may be better, after all, I generally speed racket will habitually choose 3U specifications, to avoid the occurrence of the backcourt powerlessness, and occasionally use the 4U speed racket, the power mode is still slightly unfamiliar.

Overall this new 900NEW is very consistent with the doubles positioning of a racket, whether it is the material, value design or comprehensive playing feeling of tuning performance belongs to the best masterpiece, can enter the three major high-end doubles speed racket first echelon.

Especially suitable for a certain level of men’s doubles use, if there is a good explosive power, usually like to hit the head light speed racket, then this racket will not let you down. Mainly in front of the net mixed doubles female can also be completely considered, after all, this face value is really men and women!
