    Character Introduction

    Margot Lambert (born March 15, 1999) is a French female badminton player.

    In March 2015, Margot Lambert represented France at the European Youth Badminton Championships in Lublin, Poland, helping the French team win a bronze medal in the mixed team event. In May of the same year, she, along with Vilmara Elio, competed in the Riga International Badminton Tournament. They reached the women’s doubles final but lost 1-2 (22-20, 17-21, 12-21) to the top seeds, Estonia’s Kristin Kuuba and Helina Rüütel, finishing as the runners-up.

    In April 2017, Margot Lambert represented France at the European Youth Badminton Championships held in France, helping the French team win the mixed team championship.

    Danish duo Maiken Fruergaard/Sara Thygesen continued their impressive run at the Paris Olympics with another win after already finishing first in their group. They beat French pair Margot Lambert/Anne Tran 21-16 21-12 to advance to the quarter-finals with the highest points in the group.

    The victory not only highlighted the great moment they are in, but also allowed them to save energy for the quarter-finals that begin on Thursday.
