Wei Ng
Character Introduction
Wei Ng, born July 14, 1981, in Jiangsu, is a Hong Kong badminton player. He retired in 2010 and is now a badminton coach.
In 2004, Wei Ng participated in the Athens Olympics men’s singles event and was eliminated by Malaysian star Lee Chong Wei in the round of 32. In 2005, he won a bronze medal at the Asian Badminton Championships. At the Beijing Olympics men’s singles event, he was defeated in the first round by the top seed Lin Dan from China.
In April 2010, Wei Ng decided to retire officially after his contract with the Hong Kong Sports Institute ended.
