Ygor Coelho de Oliveira (born November 24, 1996) is a Brazilian male badminton player.

In 2014, Ygor, accompanied by his father, traveled to Nanjing to participate in the Youth Olympic Games. Despite still being somewhat amateurish in his skills, he demonstrated immense potential. Following the Youth Olympic Games, Ygor pursued academic studies in France and Denmark before participating in the Rio Olympics, becoming the first Brazilian to compete in badminton men’s singles at the Olympic Games. Subsequently, the French badminton team offered him a spot, and after training with them for a year, Ygor’s world ranking soared from over 60th to 39th, prompting the Brazilian Badminton Association to hire a Danish coach specifically for him.

In October 2015, Ygor Coelho de Oliveira captured the men’s singles title at the Brazilian International Badminton Championships, marking his best-ever performance in an international tournament.

In April 2017, Ygor Coelho de Oliveira competed in the Pan American Badminton Championships, where he defeated Cuba’s Osley Guerrero, the tournament’s fourth seed, in the finals with a score of 2-1 (12-21, 21-16, 21-10), securing his first individual championship title.
