Zhang Shu Xian
Character Introduction
Born in Guiyang, Guizhou, Zhang Shuxian is a Chinese badminton player.
In 2012, Zhang Shuxian was sent to Sichuan badminton team by the Municipal Amateur Sports School for training.
In 2016, Zhang Shuxian was selected for the national youth team.
On 14 October 2017, in the mixed team final of the 2017 World Junior Badminton Championships, China won the championship with 3:1 Malaysia, in which the women’s doubles team Xia Yuting/Zhang Shuxian made a great contribution to China’s championship.
On 6 October 2019, at the Indonesia Badminton 100, 8th seeds Guo Xinwa and Zhang Shuxian saved 4 match points in the Mixed Doubles Final, narrowly defeating Indonesia’s 4th seeds Maulana/Bandasso 21-18, 16-21, 28-26, to collect their 2nd Super 100 title since the Super 100 in Vietnam.
Zhang Shuxian/Zheng Yu finished second in the Women’s Doubles final after losing 0-2 in the final of the 2022 BWF World Tour All England Open.
On 20 November 2022, in the Women’s Doubles Final of the 2022 BWF Super 300 Australian Open, Zheng Yu/Zhang Shuxian won their first Super Series title together, defeating Benjapa/Lentakarn 21-19, 21-13.
