Character Introduction

CHAIWAN Lalinrat (Thai: พิทยาภรณ์ ไชยวรรณ) is a Thai female badminton player. Formerly known as Padarasuda Chaiwan (Thai: ภัทรสุดา ไชยวรรณ), she changed to her current name CHAIWAN Lalinrat.

In July 2016, Pitiyapong Chaiwan represented Thailand at the Asian Junior Badminton Championships held in her home country, helping the Thai team win third place in the mixed team. In November of the same year, she represented Thailand at the World Junior Badminton Championships in Bilbao, Spain, helping the Thai team win third place in the mixed team.

In August 2017, she represented Thailand at the Southeast Asian Games Badminton Tournament in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, winning the women’s team gold medal with her team.

In June 2018, Pitiyaporn Chaiwan played in the Azerbaijan Badminton International and won the Individual International Challenge women’s singles title by sweeping the Belgian star’s Lianne Tan 2-0 (21-15, 21-16) in the women’s singles final.
