Learn The MAGIC Slice Shot in Badminton

This technique is deceptive and on top of that, the shuttle slows down, making it harder to reach. The amazing thing about the slicing shots is that your racket head moves in a different direction compared to the shuttle (deception). Additionally, it slows the shuttle down too! (slowing effect) Conceptually, when hitting the shuttle you need to exert a sideways wrist motion to create a slicing effect. The harder you exert the sideways motion, the more the slice (slowing effect). Once you learn the concept, you can get creative and use it in different parts of your game as shown in the video! It takes a while to get the accuracy but I’m sure you folks will do just fine! Best of luck practicing the magic slice shot!
