Adam Dong and Nyl Yakura
Adam Dong and Nyl Yakura had a remarkable journey to the 2024 Paris Olympics. Their partnership began at the end of 2021, and in a short time, they achieved significant milestones. They won their first tournament together at the Mexican International in December 2021. Over the next two years, they accumulated numerous accolades, including a bronze medal at the 2022 Pan American Championships, a gold medal at the 2023 Pan American Games in Santiago, and a silver me

Michelle Li
Michelle Li’s journey to the 2024 Paris Olympics was marked by perseverance and remarkable achievements. Her career includes multiple gold medals at the Pan American Games and Championships.
Li has achieved significant milestones throughout her career. She made her Olympic debut in 2012, where she and her partner Alex Bruce finished fourth in women’s doubles, Canada’s best result in Olympic badminton.
Men’s Singles Recap
Brian Yang
At just 22 years old, Brian Yang has already forged an impressive career. He first competed in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics as the youngest member of the Canadian badminton team. Yang notably won gold at the 2023 Santiago Pan American Games and became the first male singles player from the Pan American region to reach the final of a BWF Super Tour 500 event, where he won silver at the 2024 Indonesia Masters.
During his journey in Paris, Yang won his first match against Dmitriy Panarin of Kazakhstan (21-18, 21-10), and the second match against Kenta Nishimoto ended with scores of 21-14, 21-18 in favor of the Japanese player.
