Character Introduction
Bichamong Opanip (Thai: พิชฌามลณ์ โอภาสนิพัทธ์, January 4, 2007) is a Thai female badminton player.
In 2022, she won her first international title, defeating her teammate in the women’s singles final of the Swedish Open, and in May, she played in the Uber Cup and the Southeast Asian Games women’s badminton team competition, winning third place and gold, and in June, she reached the final of the Danish Masters, defeating Taiwan’s Sok-Yun Sung to win her second career title. In September, at the age of 15, Opaneep went one step further at the National Championships, reaching the final of the women’s singles, before losing 1-2 (13-21, 21-17, 21-23) to Sunida Geetong.
In October 2023, Bichamong won the women’s singles final of the World Junior Badminton Championships, defeating Indonesia’s Kiara 21-11, 21-9, with six consecutive victories without dropping a single set, and regained the women’s singles gold medal at the World Junior Championships after a 12-year break from 2011’s Indanon.
