Camilla Martin


Character Introduction

Camilla Maltin (March 23, 1974) is a famous Danish female badminton singles player. With her pretty looks, she was the girlfriend of Danish men’s great Peter Gade and was known as the second queen by the Danes.

In May 1999, she won the women’s singles final of the World Badminton Championships, defeating Chinese player Susanna Tai.

In September 2000, she played in the women’s singles final of the Sydney Olympics, losing to Chinese star Gong Zhichao and winning the silver medal. She also won the Women’s Singles title at the 2002 All England Open Badminton Championships.

Camilla Maltin officially retired from badminton after the 2004 Denmark Open.

In May 2005, she married businessman Lars Engarde.
