Badminton Racket YONEX VOLTRIC IFORCE Reviews
Let me take stock of what are some of the good catchy rackets in the VT line that kills people. 70? 80? VOLTRIC Z-FORCE Ⅱ? Obviously a net of pushy guys.
The VTFB does improve the high swingweight, but it’s too stiff to play with, and can only be used after progression, and the VTGZ does have an explosive midrange with a lower stiffness, but at 4U it’s still a tough swingweight to beat.
So now the one special suffix left in high end VTs is I.
Parameters: 5UG5, de-bottomed, total weight in used condition 83.8g, balance point 306mm, center stick length 216mm, medium stiffness, thin winged boxed frame, 76-hole string bed, 9-3 point string groove, 24lb warranty, 24lbs of draw string nbg95.
This is most likely a female oriented racket, both the sticker on the frame and the decal on the center stick utilize a more sultry rosy red color that easily reminds me of the Bow 9fl. The main color of the racket is white, with black primer to set off the layers, nice and bright. However, you know the quality of the paint of VT series, and the paint tension on the front of the racket frame is much higher after the frame is narrowed, so it is easier to lose the paint after knocking. The racket that I took back can be said to have a lot of paint loss and damage. In addition, the racket is very thin on both wings and the warranty is only 24 pounds, so I’m sure it will need to be used with more care.
The first time I took it out on the court, I couldn’t tell that the VTIF was a 5U racket at all, and after using the hxair and VTIF one after the other, I could clearly feel that the latter had a bigger and more solid feel, but it was also more bulky. Strangely, the second time I tried the hxair, I felt that it was lighter, probably due to the hand feel of the comparison.
Therefore, I didn’t find the vtif as good as I thought it would be the first time I tried it, and it wasn’t as flexible as I thought it would be. When I took it out for the second time, I felt differently.
VTIF is really unique and can even touch fish with high quality.
Compared to the various VT series, including the lower end, the VTIF is considered soft, and the head weight will outweigh the cues from the balance point measurements. The racket lends itself exceptionally well to overhand shots, and is so sugary that a handful of lifts can be returned to the baseline. The wind resistance of the frame has been reduced, and the narrower, rounded frame is still effective in increasing swing speed. The frame area is also large, so the difficulty of hitting the sweet spot is not as extreme as VOLTRIC Z-FORCE Ⅱ. At this point, the racket is actually really easy to handle.
Being so soft comes with a bonus – you can experience the center stick flex and power triangle system with impunity!
Finally a vt series that is truly sugary, and the soft and bouncy (actually still moderately stiff) attributes allow it to just get down and dirty on all kinds of active shots. Despite the 5u, there’s no floating feeling at all, the frame presses the ball path more steadily, and the overhand ball out will have the illusion of a sharp angle. Despite the wire not being in such good shape, it rarely hit the net in the trial.
This is still an offensive racquet that has the ability to hit a one-two punch in the backcourt, with a great feel for heavy kills, power and speed out of the ball with a sense of feedback, and not quite as jarring or heavy loading. The same 5U VTFB has a higher swing speed, but does not have the soft pop of the IF, which makes it more comfortable when physical ability or energy is down. The current more obvious wrapping feeling also makes the author more confident in the backcourt of all kinds of soft pressure, splits and hangs, with a higher tolerance rate.
It’s just that as a VT series racket, it also doesn’t have the same powerful draw snap as the VTFB, it’s half a step slower, and it lags a bit behind in ball response. This extends to doubles, where serve-receive pushes up the middle and down the sideline are very common behaviors, and both sides of the court can keep up with the ball with some preparation, but the VTIF didn’t let me off the hook with its third shot handling from the middle waistline. Nonetheless, it’s one of the most versatile VT series, thanks to its thin frame.
In case of passive, VTIF can also still help yourself, especially in the catch kill, as long as you do stand back to set up the racket, in front of their body will be much more comfortable to catch the ball. The power of this racket is really good, even in the passive in the backhand area of the incoming ball, a shot of power to hit a diagonal backcourt, the situation will be reversed, which is difficult to imagine in other vt.
When I was just dabbling in equipment, I saw someone in the small yellow fish out of the bow is, the seller claimed to be cold high-end, since then on the I suffix of the green factory racket to keep a heart. But previously tried the widely acclaimed isp, but also feel that it is not, not their own characteristics and just a beggar’s version. But VTIF is worth a try.
