Ronan Labar (born May 3, 1989) is a French male badminton player specializing in doubles, particularly mixed doubles.
Ronan Labar excels in doubles events. In 2014, he represented France and won the men’s doubles title at the Netherlands Badminton Grand Prix.
In August 2015, Ronan Labar competed in the World Badminton Championships held in Jakarta, Indonesia, partnering with Batiste Carême in men’s doubles. They advanced to the second round after a 2-1 win against a pair from the Philippines but were eliminated in the second round, losing 1-2 (21-19, 17-21, 18-21) to the 3rd seeds, Indonesia’s Hendra Setiawan and Mohammad Ahsan.
In August 2017, Ronan Labar participated in the World Badminton Championships in Glasgow, Scotland, partnering with Audrey Fontaine in mixed doubles. They won their first-round match 2-1 (21-13, 11-21, 27-25) against Indonesia’s Irfan Fadhilah and Anggia Shitta Awanda but were defeated 0-2 (18-21, 10-21) by the 8th seeds, Malaysia’s Chan Peng Soon and Goh Liu Ying in the second round, ending their run in the round of 32.
