NG Zin Rei Ryan: Singapore’s Rising Badminton Star
Ng Zin Rei Ryan (English: Ng Zin Rei Ryan, born January 14, 1998) is a male badminton player from Singapore. He is currently a student at the Republic Polytechnic, majoring in Sports, Leisure, and Management.
In May 2011, at the age of 13, Ng Zin Rei Ryan was selected to join the Singapore National Junior Badminton Team. He made the bold decision to transfer from Raffles Institution to the Singapore Sports School in order to compete for a spot in the 2014 Nanjing Youth Olympic Games. However, he ultimately failed to qualify for the Youth Olympic Games.
In September 2016, Ng Zin Rei Ryan won the men’s singles title at the Malaysia International Junior Championships, marking his first international championship victory; his world junior men’s singles ranking also rose to eighth for the first time. Source: badmintoncn.com
