Wei Ya Xin


Character Introduction

Wei Yaxin is a Chinese female badminton player.

Born in 2000, Wei Yaxin is a left-handed racket player who is competitive in both singles and doubles.Wei Yaxin started playing badminton at the age of 7, and entered the gymnasium in the following year to receive professional training. In less than two years, Wei Yaxin reached the requirements of the provincial team, but was rejected because she was too young.

In 2018, Wei Yaxin began to explode, she first got the third place in the Asian Youth Championships, and then in the badminton super league beat the national badminton ‘sister’ Chen Yufei and Olympic champion Li Xuerui, the rising momentum is very rapid.

In October 2022, Jiang Zhenbang/Wei Yaxin won the mixed doubles final of the Indonesia Malang Masters Badminton Tournament with a 2-0 victory over Cheng Xing/Chen Fanghui.

On 29 January 2023, Jiang Zhenbang/Wei Yaxin defeated Feng Yanzhe/Huang Dongping 15-21, 21-16, 19-21 in the Mixed Doubles Final of Indonesia Masters Badminton Tournament and won the second place.

In April 2023, Wei Yaxin partnered Jiang Zhenbang in the Badminton Asia Championships, and won their first career mixed doubles title at the 1000 level, defeating Zheng Siwei/Huang Yaqiong in the final in straight sets, 21-15, 21-16.
