Character Introduction

Feng Yanzhe, male, born on 13 February 2001, is a Chinese badminton player. He is an international athlete.

Feng Yanzhe was born in Tianjin and started to play badminton at the age of 5. In 2009, he entered the second level badminton class of Shichahai Sports School for training, and in 2014, he started to train with the Beijing Badminton Team Professionals, and in July 2019, he was employed as a member of the Beijing Badminton Professionals.

In May 2018, at the 2018 Viktor Cup National Youth Badminton Championships, Feng Yanzhe/Jiang Zhenbang won the Men’s Doubles Championship in Group B, and Feng Yanzhe/Lin Fangling won the third place in Mixed Doubles.

On 13 October 2019, the 2019 Badminton World Youth Championships (U19) came to an end in Kazan, Russia, with the mixed doubles final, where No. 2 seeds Feng Yanzhe/Lin Fangling played against top seeds Indonesian duo Kanando/Jamil, and the national duo won with two 21-17 victories after 44 minutes.

In October 2021, they won the 2021 Sudirman Cup World Badminton Mixed Team Championships, becoming the first post-00 world champion in badminton.

In January 2023, Feng Yanche teamed up with Huang Dongping in the Indonesia Masters Badminton Championships and won his first Super 500 title with a 21-15,16-21,21-19 victory over teammates Jiang Zhenbang/Wei Yaxin in the final.
