BEC Welcomes New Vice President and Board Members
Today, at the 57th Annual General Meeting of the Badminton Europe Conference held in Budapest, the European Badminton Confederation announced the election of a new Vice President and two new Board Members, with terms from 2024 to 2028.
The election results saw Andrej Pohar, representing the Badminton Association of Slovenia, elected as Vice President. Pohar brings extensive experience to the role, having served as Chair of the Badminton Europe Governance Committee since 2021 and as a Board Member since 2017.
Four candidates contested for two Board positions. The newly elected Board Members are Sylvain Benaïn, representing the French Badminton Federation, and Radomir Jovović, representing the Serbian Badminton Association.
