Carbon Tone CS NO.2

Equipment type: badminton. Equipment brand: VICTOR. Applicable range: amateur enthusiasts. Price range: 0 – 100 yuan. Equipment description: artificial badminton. Listing date: March 2017. Equipment introduction: The feather pieces are no longer divided into left and right sides and are equal on both sides. Due to the relatively narrow feather pieces, the adjacent overlapping (seamless overlapping) of the feather pieces is not very tight. Gaps can be seen between most adjacent feather pieces of a single ball. The feather pieces seem to be glued and pressed onto the carbon fiber feather shaft by two layers of polyethylene materials. The width of the feather pieces is not very wide, and there are through holes evenly distributed. When bouncing a new ball indoors, hitting the ball horizontally with a racket of nearly 28 pounds, after the ball bounces up, it flips at a height of about 60 – 70 cm and basically falls stably. At the moment the ball touches the racket string, the rebound is obviously fast, and it feels that the ball is a bit too bouncy, like a ‘bouncing ball’. If the racket is unstable at the moment it touches the ‘head’ of the ball, the ball will flip more flexibly and unstably. After touching the racket, the rebound speed is obviously faster than that of natural feather badminton balls. Compared with Mizuno NS5, the ball is a bit’sneaky’. Generally speaking, natural badminton balls with relatively narrow feather pieces often behave like this. Personal experience: Generally speaking, when the center of gravity of the ball is too low or too high, it will cause instability after the ball head rebounds when it contacts the racket. When bouncing the ball indoors in a relatively quiet environment, the hitting sound is crisp but seems not as loud as that of natural badminton balls with all solid wood ball heads. The bouncing feeling and sound perception of ball No. 1 and ball No. 2 are not much different. If one must distinguish which ball’s hitting sound is better between ball No. 1 and ball No. 2, on average, ball No. 2 is crisper than ball No. 1. Ball speed – feather: low-density polyethylene, carbon fiber feather shaft. Ball head: composite cork.
