Character Introduction

Rinov Rivaldy (November 12, 1999) is an Indonesian male badminton player. He and Pita Haninteyas Mentari had won the 2017 World Youth Championships mixed doubles title.

In November 2015, Rinov Rivaldi represented Indonesia at the World Junior Badminton Championships in Lima, Peru, helping the Indonesian team to win second place in the mixed team.

In July 2016, Rinoff Rivaldi represented Indonesia at the Asian Junior Badminton Championships in Bangkok, Thailand, winning the third place in the Asian Junior Mixed Doubles with Apriyani Rahayu.

In October 2016, Rinov Rivardi played in the Vietnam Badminton International Series with Vania Arianti Sukotso and won his first international doubles title by defeating his teammates’ Andika Ramadiansya/Anyanlika Wiradama 2-0 (21-15, 22-20) in the mixed doubles final.

In October 2017, Rinov Rivaldi represented Indonesia at the World Junior Badminton Championships held in his home country, winning the third place in the Men’s Doubles and the Mixed Doubles title, respectively, in association with Jeremiah Eric Josher Jacob and Pita Haninteyas Mentari.

In September 2018, Rinov Rivardi and Pita Haninteyas Muntari played in the Pangkaberi Cave Badminton Masters in Indonesia, defeating the tournament’s No. 4 seed and Thai powerhouse, Nitipong Pampupek/Shaveli Amidabai, 2-0 (21-19, 21-18) in the Mixed Doubles final to win their first Super 100 Mixed Doubles Championships title.
