on 7 July, the 2024 Asian Badminton Youth Championships single event concluded, Lin Xiangyi achievement of the double champion, the national youth team after eight years again swept the five individual titles, and to six gold, one silver and two bronze to end the journey of the Asian Youth Championships (including the team competition).
In Men’s Singles, Hu Zhe’an defended his Men’s Singles title against Yoon Ho-seung 13-21, 21-14, 21-14, and won his first match in the tournament.
Women’s singles, Xu Wenjing 21-13, 21-15 Yin Yiqing, won the women’s singles title, and achieved two consecutive victories in the two sides, which is also the only single item of the national badminton team to sweep the crown.
In Men’s Doubles, it was Hu Keyuan/Lin Xiangyi who swept past Jiang Kaixing/Dai Weiqin 21-13, 21-11 to win the Men’s Doubles title, taking revenge after 3 consecutive losses.
The women’s doubles team of Chen Fan Shuxiu/Liu Jiayue beat Kim Min Ji/Yeon Seo Yeon 21-11, 21-15 to win the women’s doubles title and gained 3 consecutive victories in the encounter.
Mixed Doubles Lin Xiangyi/Liu Yuanyuan easily won 21-12, 21-13 against Aurelius/Bernardin to claim this Mixed Doubles title and their first ever head-to-head victory.
