Product Description: The AT900P AT-900Power was launched in 2008. It features a composite racket frame with a ‘gForce Ti’ special titanium armor alloy at the top, which generates a greater gravitational effect compared to carbon fiber, enhancing the racket’s impact energy. The gForce Ti, a unique metal composite, provides twice the gravitational effect of carbon fiber. Positioned at the top of the racket frame’s front one-third, it increases the inertial moment of the racket swing, thereby increasing the energy used to hit the shuttlecock.
Yonex ARMORTEC Titanium Armor Technology:
1. Innovative racket head edge compression structure enhances the racket face stability by 3%. The gForce Ti titanium armor, combined with the edge compression structure at the top of the racket frame, effectively resists frame distortion and improves ball control. This 3% increase in racket face stability also brings a crisp and solid ‘metallic impact’ sensation.
2. Higher string tension. Through repeated improvements in the frame’s load-bearing durability, the recommended string tension for ARMORTEC rackets has been significantly increased to meet the needs of players who prefer high tension. However, it is important to note that high tension strings can pose risks or cause injuries to the wrists, elbows, and shoulders of players.
3. The titanium armor on the racket head enhances the gravitational effect, increasing the maximum smash speed by 4%. The titanium armor technology using gForce Ti, combined with the unique cross-sectional compression structure at the top of the racket frame, suppresses frame distortion under high load while strengthening the frame’s lightweight and flexibility. This results in a racket with a distinctive ‘head-heavy effect’, increasing the smash speed by 4%. The higher speed and more agile handling performance make the titanium armor series a favorite weapon for today’s fast-paced badminton play.
4. Yonex, through analysis of the special grip techniques of top doubles players, has developed a new C.S.CAP Precision Guidance Racket Handle Cone Cap, providing players with faster racket swing flexibility to adapt to increasingly fast doubles competition. The new handle cone cap of the ARMORTEC racket has an 88% larger practical area than traditional badminton racket handle cone caps. The innovative cone cap shape and wider contact surface make it easier for the thumb to grip and control the racket, making high-speed backhand swings faster and more accurate.
6. The frame shape is ISO square, expanding the sweet spot area for hitting on the racket face. Compared with traditional rackets, the square racket head can provide 32% more effective hitting area (sweet spot). Even continuous smashes that deviate from the center area of the racket string bed can maintain corresponding accuracy and speed. 7. The internal connection between the frame and shaft adopts a built-in T-Joint connection structure to transmit greater hitting power. When hitting hard, the torsion force received by the frame is instantly transmitted to the T-shaped position of the racket. The T-shaped part bears a huge mechanical load. The built-in T-shaped alloy joint hidden in the inner layer of carbon fiber at the connection between the frame and shaft makes all YONEX high-precision two-stage carbon fiber rackets perfectly connected into a high-strength integrated racket. This renowned built-in T-Joint connection structure is YONEX’s world-exclusive patent, allowing YONEX rackets to have both powerful strength and precise ball control performance. Frame material: ultra-high elasticity carbon + soft titanium alloy + fine mesh titanium armor. Shaft material: high elasticity carbon + elastic titanium. Racket weight: 3U, 4U. Racket length: 674mm. Grip thickness: G3, G4, G5. Shaft flexibility: extra hard. String tension: 3U (20-25LBS), 4U (19-24LBS). Balance point: 304mm.
