1. Ultimum Ti: Yonex’s Ultimum Ti is made from a highly advanced elastic metal (shape memory alloy) composed of nickel titanium alloy, with a strength three times that of pure titanium and double the elasticity of carbon fiber. Yonex has cast Ultimum Ti alloy wires into the racket shaft, functioning like a powerful capacitor, effectively storing energy and releasing it as explosive speed for the shuttlecock through the ‘transient rebound effect’ at the moment of impact.
2. Box Frame: The racket frame adopts a box-section design, providing a stable hitting surface and reduced torque, thereby enhancing the player’s control; the box-shaped cross-section design also brings better durability to the frame.
3. Shock Absorption Holes (SG): The middle of both sides of the frame uses a new type of shock-absorbing string hole rubber, providing a ‘soft feel’ to the player’s arm during powerful hits, effectively reducing the fatigue of arm muscles during long matches.
4. Muscle Power Frame Structure: Traditional rackets support the string directly on the sharp edges of the string hole rubber, causing stress concentration at the two contact points after stringing, leading to string fatigue and significant tension loss. The new MP structure supports the string on an arched groove, connecting the two contact points into a contact arc surface, effectively eliminating stress and greatly enhancing the overall effect of the string and frame, thereby enhancing the overall stability and power performance of the racket.
5. Isometric Square Head: Compared to traditional rackets, the isometric square head provides an additional 32% effective hitting area (sweet spot), even off-center continuous smashes maintain corresponding precision and speed. Yonex’s Isometric Head Shape racket, developed by Yonex, allows aggressive players to maintain a clear advantage in today’s fiercely competitive international badminton scene.
6. Titanium Mesh (Titanmum Mesh): Developed by Yonex’s engineers, the titanium mesh weighs 2.5 times the strength and 2.3 times the weight of carbon fiber. This Titanium Mesh is symmetrically used at the 3 o’clock and 9 o’clock positions of the racket to increase the racket’s axial inertia, improve the racket face’s anti-twist performance (racket face stability) during impact, and also enhance the head’s attacking power.
7. Built-in T-Joint: The built-in T-shaped alloy joint is deeply embedded within the carbon fiber layers at the junction of the racket shaft and handle, allowing all carbon fiber badminton rackets produced by YONEX’s high-precision two-piece process to be perfectly connected into a high-strength one-piece racket. This world-renowned and exclusively patented Build-in T-Joint enables YONEX rackets to possess both powerful performance and precise control.
8. 7mm Slim Shaft: Traditional racket shafts have a diameter of 9mm, whereas this racket has a slim shaft of only 7mm. The ultra-slim shaft reduces air resistance, enhances attacking power, and improves control.
